The ropes course is rigged in trees and the challenges are between 11 and 14 metres above the ground. No prior experience is needed, just an average fitness level and a sense of adventure. Most people complete all the challenges on the course in 3 hours or so, including travel time to and from Waitomo. We provide all the training and safety equipment required - all you need to bring is a raincoat and jersey (just in case!) and a pair of running shoes or similar. Long pants that do not restrict your movement are ideal... we don't recommend jeans. As the ropes course is in a wilderness area and the nearest cafe is a good distance away, you might want to bring something to eat, if you don't enjoy going without food for a few hours. If you have long hair we recommend you have it tied back, or bring a hair-tie. You can bring your camera if you wish, and also a plastic bag to keep it dry in case of rain.

We provide helmets, harness, ropes & hardware, lots of trees and lots of air... you provide the adrenaline, we just help you use it!
